Justin Bieber in dramatic red desert landscape

Interactive Live Concert · 2020

Justin Bieber

A fully live, interactive virtual concert featuring Justin Bieber, performed in real time inside an immersive 3D environment and attended simultaneously by a global audience.

The show ran live from start to finish, with fans sharing the space together and interacting directly with the performer during the experience. The project showed that large-scale, real-time interactive entertainment could be executed live without compromising creative quality, stability, or polish.

Creative Approach

Working closely with the Bieber team, we designed a visual approach that stayed grounded and performance-first, while still allowing moments of heightened expression that only a virtual stage makes possible. Each song in the setlist was paired with a custom environment tuned to its mood and energy, while maintaining a cohesive look and flow across the full show.

Audience Interaction

A core goal was to create a stronger sense of connection between the performer and the audience. We introduced a live web chat system that allowed fans to send messages directly to the performer avatar, visible to both the artist and the audience, and live webcam integration during interstitial moments, allowing Justin to see and speak directly to fans during the show.

Live Execution

From a production standpoint, this show was closer to live stage performance than a traditional software release. The entire experience ran fully live, in one continuous execution, with no delay, no checkpoints, and no ability to reset. We conducted extensive rehearsal and testing passes to ensure system behavior held up under true live conditions.

Outcome

The response to the show was extremely strong, with high engagement and clear validation of the platform's ability to support meaningful performer/fan connection at scale.
